NOODLES!!!

So today I decided to make dinner for my neighbors. They have a few people sick in their family. I actually made homemade noodles (for chicken noodle soup). I have always loved homemade noodles, but have felt that the amount of time to make them and the mess it creates is not worth it. SOOOOOOOO NOT TRUE. I loved them. They may not look perfect but they were great, and they took less then 15 minutes to make. It was great. Now I know that they are easy and I will make them more often. Most recipes are probably the same. You can find one on the internet or most cook books!

Just thinking

I was thinking about what I learned in Church on Sunday. So this is a simple question from a song that the quior sang.
If Jesus stood beside me, would I do the things I do??? REALLY REALLY great question. How many things do you do in the day that you wouldn't do if He were walking right beside you? It sure makes me think. I wonder what percentage of things I would quit doing right now if He were next to me? It really does make you think of the things you are filling your days with huh!!! Anyway, just thinking!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADDIANNA!!!

What a great day for a birthday!! Unfortunately Addianna wasn't quite sure she wanted to be happy about it!!! We're happy about it though, we are so glad she is a part of our family!!!

Feet, Beautiful Feet!!

I have always thought my feet were cute!!! So I thought I would take a picture so you could think they are cute also. My new quest is to become a foot model in 2008. GO FEET!!!!

Cry BABY!!!

Well I had to say goodbye to Lorena tonight. I thought I would be o.k. I have been fighting tears all day, but I still thought I might be tough enough. I suppose I had another think coming. The second Dave asked if I was ready to go I started crying. I sure am going to miss her!! All of our kids got so attached. It amazes me how knowing someone for such a little amount of time can make such a BIG impact. I truly did not want to say goodbye. But my goal in the next few months is to get passports for all of my kids. Watch out Brasil here we come. Lorena is getting married this year and we plan on going, that is if we can afford that much money WOW!!!

My Brasilian Sister!!!!! ROLA!!!

I have had so much fun the last few days. On Tuesday I was able to drive to the airport with my dad and pick up Lorena Savastano. She is my Brasilian sister. She lived with us 13 years ago. I haven't seen her for 10 years (I went to her house in Brasil for 3 weeks in 98') We have had a blast and I have loved having her here, I really dread her going back so far away in a couple of days!! We've had a BLAST!!

Church at 9:00 AAAAHHHHHH!

I wrote a blog yesterday but I must not have published it or saved it because when I looked tonight it wasn't on there.
So Church at 9:00 for the Allreds. I'll have you know we arrived in time and early. Wow I made it, we made it. WOOOOO HOOOOOO.
It was wonderful for about the 1st 5 minutes. Then of course the kids started being kids again.
Addianna for some reason was really onnery. She is normally so nice and loving, and aside from her calling Brother Oaks and Brother Ercanbrack a DUMMY things went about as good as normal.
One lady who was visiting made a comment to my friend that she was so glad to see us stick it out with the kids through sacrament meeting. I'm glad she was glad, because I'm not sure I was. I definately have a testimony of the church otherwise you would not see me there with five kids at 9:00 in the morning I would have to be insane. Wait a minute I AM!! Anyway, YEAH ALLRED'S!!!

Pizza Hut, with 5 kids!!! BRAVE?

Shally and Jennasea both earned a book it slip, which means they get to go to Pizza hut and have a personal pan pizza. So we decided to go last night. We ordered five personal pans and the service was very slow, which I don't mind if it's just Dave and I. But to have to wait while all the kids are hungry and wanting to run around it just doesn't work. So we got take out boxes the second I handed the kids their first piece of pizza. It was crazy, and not as calm as I would have liked. As we were walking out I saw a girl that I knew from highschool. She said "Are All of those yours?" (those?) and I said "yes", and she said "you're brave" which could be completely true, but it could be that I just didn't know better! LOL no, I truly love my kids and I have so much fun with all the insanity in our home. I got this snap shot, the second we sat down. It did NOT look like this the rest of the time. You can sure tell Dave is completely and totally thrilled about this whole situation.....:):):)

Happy Holidays

I love Christmas time. I'm always so sad to have it go by so fast. There is definately something about Christmas for me. I love the way it makes me feel, and the song accompanying my slideshow is one way to make it last the whole year. This is one of my favorite songs, and believe me, I don't just play it at Christmas. It is a year around song, it makes me happy!!!

What??????

Dad and I decided to take Briella's staples out. Dave and I didn't want to have to pay for another Dr's visit. So just like in the olden days, we used good old fashioned wire cutters and pliars. Worked like a charm and Briella didn't cry once. I know, not very sanitary, but we didn't touch her head with them. Afterwards dad went on the internet and bought the right kind of tools to do it with, so next time there won't be a problem. We all like the medical side of things. Dad wanted to be a Dr. and I wanted to be a nurse. So look at us, and we didn't even have to go to college to do it!! LOL :):):):)

We went to Tabiona to get our kids on New Year's day, mom and dad had kept them for a few days so we could get some things done on the house and have a New Years Party with friends. The kids had fun playing games.
