A career at age 3!

Here is my daughter, contemplating her life and what to do with it. She thought about it for a whole 3 days. This picture was taken 4 days ago.

Yesterday she made her career decision, without consulting me first. She is going to be a Cosmotologist. I know, big word for a 3 year old, but she already knows how to cut hair. She had to have learned it from her older sister who made the same career decision at the age of three also. It actually ended up looking pretty cute, but it was hard to cover up the pieces that are almost to the scalp. But we did o.k. my mom cut it and I styled it. It is really short in the back, kind of spikey. Cute, but not how I would have cut it if I would have had a say in it.

Happy Valentine's.......... and birthday!

Happy Valentine's day Everyone. I left my camera in my dad's car over the weekend and I finally got it back yesterday. Shalyndria's Birthday was this weekend so I had to do a slide show for her, since I did one for Addianna. We went to a place callled Bouncin' off the Walls. The kids had a blast, as did the adults!

Today was Valentine's day so I incorporated her birthday along with those I love. Atleast the ones I have pictures of! They're Amazing!!!
What a great day!

I'M ALIVE!!!!!!!

O.k. I'm alive. Dave came home last night, the kids ran to him and said, "Dad look what mom did to the kitchen." He looked and didn't say anything. This is our conversation 20 minutes later!!

"Jaime, do you know where a cup is?" He asked

"I have no idea, if there isn't one there." I said

"Well, I'd look in the cupboard if we had one!" he stated.

That's it, that's all he said, and then he plugged away the rest of the night to help me get more done. What a wonderful husband. You gotta love him.

Posted by.... I blew my cover!!

I changed my name. I was thinking that I was all undercover and everything by using the name bio girl. It's not that I don't like it and think it is totally cool, but I'm not loving it today, so I just changed it, not only that but I used my name on my first post anyway so I'm not so undercover anymore.

If my husband could scream, I'm sure he's going to!!!

So today my husband went to work with our kitchen pretty much in one piece. If that makes sense. The walls were there, the cabinets were hanging, the oven was in place, etc. etc. etc.
Well little does he know, he has a surprise awaiting him at home. The walls are gone, the oven is now in the dumpster, and the cabinets that were once on the wall are now on our living room floor. WOW what do you think he is going to say????
Leave me a comment and let me know what you or your husband would do in a situation like this, and if I'm still alive tomorrow morning I'll let you know what happened here!!!! Wish me luck, he'll be home any minute!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH, I'll send pictures later!

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my mom's birthday, for her sake I won't tell you how old she is..... but it's been a good 55 years hasn't it mom? I have always thought that holidays of any sort were great, it gives us a chance to think about so many things, Christ, Love, Leprechauns, freedom, frankenstein, mashed potatoes and gravy and all the good stuff. So of course on someone's birthday you think of them. I love my mother and all she has done for me. I love that she loves everyone no matter what and she just wants what is best for everyone she loves, and I'm thankful for all the things that she has taught me in my life and the things she continually teaches me! So when I saw this saying it made me think of my mother!!!

"Mother, You share an ocean of love that knows no end, You're more than a mother, You are my best friend!"

Happy Birthday Mom!!!! I love you!!!

Accusations!!!

I have met someone. He is so exciting and fun and he really knows how to live on the edge. He's dangerous in a good way, and he makes my heart beat faster. I admit it, the past two weeks I have been spending time with another man. The accusations are true, but I hate to say it, I am addicted. So since this situation is so exciting is it really wrong?

I have been seeing him almost every night the last little while, and I don't intend on stopping!!! This may sound a little wierd, but my husband is o.k. with it!!!

Scooby-Doo

So the other day my son came over to me (whining) saying his sisters were making fun of him. I said "what did they do?"
He said "They keep saying (this is the tune to the scooby doo song)
Scooby Dooby Doo
Took a poo
Dawson thought it was candy
He took a bite
his face turned white
and that's the end of the story!"
Ok, I have to admit, I started laughing, I know I shouldn't have because it did really upset my son, but the way he said it and the words just made me laugh, but I quickly gained control of myself and took care of the matter. Where do they learn these things and who sits around thinking of these words??? Oh, Shaggy's name is supposed to be where Dawson's name is.
Come to find out, my little sister Justine was the one that taught it to them. So I had a nice talk with her to tell her she can't teach my kids things like that. It makes me laugh every time I think of it, but it certainly is a song I'm sure we could have lived without learning. But I do love to laugh, so just between you and me, I kind of think it's funny!

Cake Cake and more Cake

I made a wedding cake this last weekend. I have to admit though I really cheated on this one. I actually had Smith's make and frost the actual cake, so my mom and I did the flowers. OK so I really didn't do a whole lot on this cake, but I thought it turned out pretty good, except I wasn't a big fan of the cake top! But that's what they wanted.

SLEEEEEEEPPPPP!!!!!

So these are the mornings when I wonder, WHAT WAS I THINKING, having 5 children. AHHHHH, I am so tired. On a good night I'm only woken up about 5-6 times (that's if each child only wakes up once) but not last night. Dawson woke up 5 times himself, Addianna woke up 4 times, Shalyndria only once, Jennasea woke up 4 times and Briella woke up 3 times. So all together that is 17 times. 17..... So you take into consideration that I have to wake up and take care of whatever it is that they need (Dawson a drink of milk and another place to sleep, Jennasea I had to take her potty and rub her head because she was sick, Addianna drink of milk and just wanted me to lay by her, Briella needed a drink each time and Shalyndria's lips were dry) let's figure that each time takes about 5 minutes to do what needs to be done and then it takes me about 10 minutes after that to settle down again and go back to sleep. That is exactly 4.25 hours. So that means out of the 8 hours I expected to get I only got 3.75 hours. I normally do well without any sleep but after so many years of being sleep deprived I think it's beginning to catch up to me. I WANT TO TAKE A NAP. This is when I wish that Dave had a day off of work to come home and just let me sleep. Even just for 25 minutes. I love being a mom, don't get me wrong, and there is nothing that would ever change that fact, but sometimes I'd like to be a mom who isn't so tired, I'm sure in 20 years I can say I'm not tired anymore right????? OH, yeah, and this whole time Dave is deep in sleep not hearing a peep, and usually wakes up and says "Wow, the kids slept really good last night! WHHHAAAAATTTTTT??????

E.R. Visit

So last night about 11:00 pm Jennasea came into our room whining. So I took her out to calm her down and she said she couldn't swallow. So I asked if her throat hurt, I was sure she was getting sick like her sister, but she said it didn't hurt. So I took her into the kitchen to give her a drink to see if that would help. I looked at her eye and it was swollen. So I asked her what her throat felt like if it didn't hurt. She said it feels chubby. Which may sound funny, but I was quite worried because I knew her throat must be getting SQUISHY PUFFY, so I gave her some Benadryl and it didn't work, her tongue started getting big, so I stayed home with the other kids while Dave took her into the E.R. Something definately was happening because her oxygen was down to 79, so they gave her a shot and within minutes her oxygen was fine and the swelling had started to go down. Scary. We can't figure out what spurred it. We had chicken and corn for dinner. Nothing unusual. This is so weird. Anyway, it's scary.
